My family loves tradition, especially with holidays. This area has holiday ideas and recipes, mainly centered around food. I hope you find some new family traditions for your family as well.
Christmas is a magical time of year that is steeped in tradition. Those traditions have grown over the years. What started as a small gingerbread house has grown into a castle one year or a circus another year. Candies and cookies, joy and family together. I love the magic of celebrating the Savior's birth.
Easter is my favorite holiday. I love the start of new spring and new beginnings. I love celebrating the life of our Savior. I love gathering together as a family as we enjoy a family meal.
Thanksgiving is a holiday full of family, food, and tradition. We love gathering together and celebrating the blessings we have recieved throughout the year. The beginning of the holiday season with leftover turkey sandwiches while we decorate the Christmas tree rounds out the weekend.
What a wonderful day full of love. Some years we go out to eat, but most years we enjoy a quiet night at home. Some families share traditions of a family love day. This holiday for us has changed over the years, and I anticipate many more traditions of love.
The days of little kids in my house was before blogs and pinterest. I collected some of my favorite ways to keep my 5 little boys and little girl busy throughout the day.
The gospel of Christ is taught in many different ways. Some of the lessons my kids remember involve food. I hope you find ways to share the Gospel in your house.
